The cover art was created by Lauren Drainville, an incredibly gifted young artist living in New England. Lauren's cover, highlighting a bowl of gazpacho and a Spanish dagger, was selected because she perfectly captured the essence of this work - a cookbook and an adventure story.
Fritz Knecht is a retired US Navy Captain with 28 years of service as a Surface Warfare and Intelligence Officer. Fritz served two tours in Europe and fifteen assignments throughout the United States. Born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Fritz spent his public school years in Nazareth. Fritz graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BA in Political Science and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a MGA. Fritz resides outside Washington, D.C. area with his bride, Lynn.
Dennis Quinn is a retired US Army Colonel with 28 years of service as an Infantry and Military Intelligence Officer. He served two tours in Vietnam, three tours in Europe, and multiple tours within the United States, including assignments in the Pentagon and on the faculties of the Army Command and General Staff College and the National Defense University . Dennis has a BA in Political Science and an MA in International Relations. He grew up in Rhode Island as a part of a great Irish-Italian family and now resides with his wife, Ellen, in Sarasota, Florida.
